WEEK 8: DEBRA GALLET & JACOB BREIDENBACH

“We moved here just under 2 years ago, and Delivering with Dignity has given us the opportunity to get out into our newly adopted community, appreciate the people who make it so wonderful, and also be of service to those in need. Finding some way to help during this crazy time, and even after, is a huge motivator for us, and we're so happy to support this wonderful cause.” - Debra & Jacob

WEEK 6: MEREDITH ODA

After less than 24 hours of us launching the program, she was the very first community member to volunteer as a Food Hero without question and has continued to serve almost every week since. The work that we do at Delivering with Dignity could not be possible without the support of wonderful Food Heroes like Meredith that we are so grateful to have!

WEEK 5: JUDI JENSEN

"I'm exploring the 4 corners of Reno-Sparks by delivering meals! I am blessed to be retired, healthy and able to serve others. I have outfitted my car with an ice chest and 2 insulated cardboard boxes to help keep meals cool. I love how this program feeds the hungry and puts caterers back to work as well."

- Judi Jensen

WEEK 4: HARPER CONNOLLY

WEEK 3: KRISTIN GREENSTREET

"I may be a Food Hero, but the true heroes are the ones on the other side of the door. The warm smiles, kind eyes and overwhelming gratitude. The stories behind the faces. I am humbled by both their bravery and their vulnerability. With each knock on the door, I am reminded that true compassion begins with a simple act of service." - Kristin Greenstreet

Food Hero: Dan, Volunteer

“It's a beautiful symphony of government, local business, technology and local charities coming together to assist those in need. To be able to participate in a small way is truly a blessing. Great job!”

Recipient: A Client from Communities In Schools

“Jaymee and I would like to thank you Delivery with Dignity as you helped us out a great deal. The food you delivered was incredible and I am so grateful that you were there for us.”

Food Hero: Mary Brock, Executive Director of Seniors in Service

“We have received so many calls today from our seniors who received deliveries! They are so appreciative and impressed with the quality of the food. What a great program. :)”

Recipient: Teona Clarkson-Couey, Client from the Children’s Cabinet

“They just delivered the meals and I wanted to say thank you for putting us on the list for that! It helps out so much and we really appreciate it. I had our 3 younger kids make thank you cards. They were on our porch but I had to run out and make sure the guy got them lol. If they do it again we would love to be on the list. Thank you again.”
